On Thursday evening, 13 September, 2012, the Bicycle Touring Club of North Jersey presented a $2,750 donation to Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon. Accepting the check was Mary-Edna Krutchkoff. It was half of the proceeds of a June bicycle tour in Bergen County, NJ, that the club ran for two charities - AaSP and the Bergen Community College. SPECIAL DONATION: On Thursday evening, 8 September, 2011, Ted Semegran, Bill Mayser and Diane McNally presented AaSP President Alan Krutchkoff with a check for $4,000 to benefit the 42 soldiers of the NJ ARNG SECFOR Platoon now in AFG, along with two Battalions from the 10th MTN DIV. This is the second year that BTCNJ has made AaSP their charity for their June bicycle tour. Diane's son Richard is a former adoptee whom AaSP supported in AFG.

On Thursday evening, 16 September, 2010, Ted S. (L), Bill M. and Don S. of the the Bicycle Touring Club of North Jersey presented AaSP President Alan K with a check for $4,000 to improve the morale of our troops. The monies were from a bicycle touring event during the summer that was a tremendous success. One of the club's members, Diane M., has a son who was in AFG and an adoptee of Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon.
